E-commerce website Winstons Beds came to Motive to build their brand, increase credibility, boost SEO and organic search rankings and increase traffic and direct sales from their website.
We positioned Winstons as experts in sleep, creating compelling stories on topics like sleep health and hygiene using the knowledge of the client team to advise on hacks to clean mattresses and bedding.
We also created a mixture of light-hearted content to help us target different publications. This included identifying the sleeping positions to avoid wrinkles and premature ageing.
In our first 12 months working with the brand we added 1234 items of media coverage along with 1358 backlinks from high DA media sites into the brand's website. These links came from a range of national publications including The Mirror, The Daily Express and The Daily Star. We also secured coverage in relevant home and lifestyle publications such as HuffPost, Ideal Home and Tyla as well as a product placement opportunity in Hello Magazine.
Our work helped the site grow authority, going from a DR of 12 at the start of the year to 32 by the end.
Average monthly traffic to the site doubled during the year with analytics showing an increase of 100%.
