Background:
Lighting Legends is a Derbyshire-based online retailer specialising in quality outdoor lighting. Since launching in 2020, the brand has lit up gardens and landmarks across the UK - including National Trust properties, Windsor Castle, and the world famous Tower of London. They’ve even decorated the garden of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez.
When the team approached us, their objective was to increase brand awareness and strengthen their online presence. The most effective way to achieve this was through targeted media coverage in high-authority home, garden, and lifestyle publications.
With the home and garden sector being a crowded and competitive space, we knew a tailored approach was essential - one that highlighted Lighting Legends’ specialist expertise in outdoor lighting.

To help raise their online presence and increase brand awareness and authority, our aim was to position Lighting Legends as experts in all things garden lighting. We did this by creating relevant home, garden and lifestyle content that could be pitched to regional, national and lifestyle media.

Over the course of 12 months, we delivered a wide range of stories, from how motion sensor lighting can improve home security, to tips for making your garden look expensive on a budget, and seasonal pieces like the do’s and don’ts of hanging Christmas lights.
The Lighting Legends team also kept us updated with exciting business developments, enabling us to create newsworthy local stories for regional and business press - boosting their profile among professional audiences as well.
Alongside this, we actively pitched products to journalists for inclusion in reviews, round-ups, and seasonal gift guides throughout the year. We also secured competition placements in key titles such as House Beautiful and Good Housekeeping.
